Nadim Nassif is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Education and Physical Education at the Faculty of Humanities in Notre-Dame University, Lebanon. He is the academic advisor of the physical education and sports major and the manager of the NDU FIFA/CIES Sports Management program. He has a BA in Physical Education from the University of Balamand (Lebanon), MA in Sport Management (FIFA Master in Sport Management, Law and Humanities from the International Centre for Sport Studies, Switzerland), Mphil in Sport history (DeMontfort University, United Kingdom) and PhD in Sport Sociology (Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble, France).
He has professionally and scientifically deepened his knowledge and skills in the field of sport through competing as an athlete, teaching university students, coaching athletes, participating in conferences, workshops, and working as a consultant for several national and international federations. His research interests encompass sport history, coaching, sport management, sports sociology, sport policy, sport politics and his main and favorite field, which is elite sport performance.
He created the World Ranking of Countries in Elite Sport, which goal is to give an accurate evaluation of the performances of all the countries in all the internationally recognized sports.
